Movember for Boymeetsboyblog.com

As gay men, which some of us are...we must be on top of our health, working out, eating right, and HIV/AIDs tests. November marks the start of Prostate Cancer Awareness and other male associated diseases. Movember, is the official term coined by Movember USA, a group set out to create change one face at a time along with LiveStrong and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Over at boymeetsboyblog.com I have taken on the challenge along with my friends over at Mobli.com, to grow a mustache for the month of November. The next few weeks will bring short video posts that you can follow on here and Mobli.com. Together we can create awareness, make change, but most of all talk as men...about our health. There is no need to be ashamed...open your mouth, discuss, educate. If you are up for the challenge lend your face to the month of Movember. Remember change starts with YOU!

Don't fret women, you too can join in! Just go on over to Movember USA and see how you can become a Mo Sista.

Mobli.com and Boymeetsboyblog.com creating change

As you know, last week on 10.20.2011, it was #SpiritDay. All the people who supported GLAAD and the LGBT communities' fight against bullying wore purple. I was able to take part in a BIG way over at Mobli.com along with the help of Ryan Robbins. After posting my short video on Mobli, there was an outpour of support left and right, from straight to gay, and all different parts of the world. Together we got a message across that BULLYING needs to STOP.

We are talking about all types of bullying...together by talking about it, it can come to a stop and a solution can be reached. So whenever you think you are alone and there is no one to talk to, please remember there is. Reach out to anyone, go onto Mobli.com and check out the videos. YOU can SURVIVE this, and you don't have to do it alone.

Due to the overwhelming videos, pictures, and conversation, one member, Jen, decided to reach out and create a new channel on Mobli.com by the name of, Cool to be Kind. I encourage all of you to check out her video, and to sign-up and use Mobli.com. The best live sharing app!

It is easy as 1-2-3, sign up, download on to your phone, and you are on the way to creating change. Through the use of technology WE can make a difference.
